Send to Cart and Register
Once you have picked your best schedule, it’s time to select it. From the View Schedule screen, click the Send to Shopping Cart button to begin registration.
Important: Think of each favorite schedule as an Amazon shopping list: You can keep it indefinitely, but nothing happens until you move it into your shopping cart, then check out and commit to buy it (register).
Swap Out a Course
Available for: PeopleSoft, Banner
If you need to swap out a class from your Cart and don’t want to regenerate schedules again, look for the option to “swap” it out. After you pick the course section you want to change, select your new section one of three ways, then click Swap:
- By Class # — to add the section directly, if you can provide its registration number
- Shopping Cart — to select among courses you added to your cart earlier
- By Subject — to search for a different course you want
Remember: While courses are still in your cart, you aren’t registered and can make changes.
Register
Click the Register button to complete enrolling in the classes you have in the Shopping Cart.
How you complete registration depends on how things are set up with your institution’s systems, but Scheduling will provide the section information you need to register the schedule you built.
