Academic Alerts and Communication
Posted
Updated
Civitas Advising helps you work efficiently with the advisors at your institution. For you, Advising consists of primarily two tools:
- Academic alerts and commendations about your students
- Communication (emails and texts with your students; emails with advisors)
Academic Alerts created in Advising are shared with and resolved by advising team members. Your alerts provide a window into students’ challenges and needs, and can be the bridge to the campus-wide support system.
Your insights in the classroom, as well as your concerns and recommendations, are central to the staff’s ability to help students when they need it most.
