Advisor Directory
PostedSeptember 14, 2022
UpdatedFebruary 19, 2023
The Directory gives you two tabs:
- All Advisors and Faculty lets you browse the names, photos, and contact information that each user chose to provide (in Settings).
- “Faculty” means those Advising users with the Faculty role.
- To update your own contact information, go to your Settings (gear icon) at left.
- Colleges or Program Offices provides the website and address of each college and office (as configured during implementation).
Good to Know
- Searching — To search for an individual in the advisory directory, you just need to enter the first letter or two of their first or last name.
- Inactive Staff — When an advisor leaves their advising role, their record is marked as Inactive. If you are looking for an advisor and they no longer show up in the Directory, this is the likely reason. If a student has an existing appointment or event with an inactive advisor, they will see them tagged as “inactive”.
- Your Own Listing — If you see a problem with your information listed in the Directory, fix it in your Profile: At the top right of any page, click your profile image and select Profile from the drop-down menu.
- Finding Instructors — Need to reach a student’s instructors? Use the Message Current Instructors button at top of a student’s Profile > Course History to quickly reach all of their teachers, such as if they have a family medical emergency. You can also locate the instructor for a certain course and email them.
- College or Program Offices tab — These URLs and address locations are entered at the time of implementation. If you see outdated or missing information, contact Support to update it.
