Civitas Learning’s Scheduling allows students to explore, narrow, and save the perfect class schedule for them out of all the possible combinations. By delivering a first-in-class registration experience, Scheduling reduces friction for students, enhancing one of the most critical points on their journey towards a degree.

  • Add courses and breaks for them
  • Select optimal schedules and Favorite/share them with students
  • Bulk-add courses and breaks for a set of students, such as athletes

Easier for Leadership

  • Balance section fill rates by prioritizing the schedules that include them
  • Leverage Course Demand reports to right-size course offerings
  • Review Break Demand reports to understand scheduling conflicts
  • Track Student Usage reports to find out how Scheduling adoption is progressing
  • Bulk-register schedules for a group of students

Ways to Help Students

Scheduling lets your team respond quickly to challenges such as COVID-19:

  • Messaging — Update the custom banner messaging on the Scheduling main screen with any text you want students to see.
  • Impersonation — Use the Sample Student Login to run Scheduling on behalf of a student, to add the courses/breaks they need for the next term.
  • Balancing — Use Enrollment Optimization to manage section fill rates; these are real-time section fill rates per course. You can change the priority of a section so it displays earlier in a student’s schedule options.
  • Engagement — Encourage students to log into Scheduling and reach out to you to approve the courses they’ve added to their schedules.
